What To Expect From Your VI Peel Treatment

A VI Peel treatment typically takes about 30 minutes, and thanks to the addition of phenol, the procedure is usually painless.


We personalize each treatment to address your unique concerns. Although the procedure will differ depending on your needs, there are specific common steps that must take place, such as:

  • Our practitioner will clean your skin to remove any dirt, oil, and traces of makeup
  • We will apply layers of the unique blend of ingredients for your VI Peel
  • The VI Peel is a leave on treatment. Our practitioner will advise you when you can wash your face, usually after 4 to 6 hours
  • You may experience a tingling or numbing sensation during the treatment
  • Your skin will typically start peeling about three days after the procedure, but this process may take up to 5 days for some

What will my skin look like after a VI Peel?

After your treatment, your skin may be pink for 24 hours. In 3-5 days, you will notice flaking of the skin and it may feel dry and tight. The peel will cause your skin to glow and look more youthful. Results will vary from patient to patient. Your skin care specialist will provide post treatment instructions.



How often should I have a VI Peel?

The recommended frequency varies depending on which condition we are treating. In general, you may receive a VI Peel once every 4-6 weeks to once every few months.
